Thinking about the next REF?

Journal articles and conference proceedings with an ISSN must be available in an open-access form to be eligible for the post-REF2021 research assessment exercises.

Until the next REF open access policy is confirmed, this means that these outputs must be uploaded to BURO within three months of acceptance for publication.

To all UKRI, Research England and Innovate UK grant holders, please be aware of the new UKRI open access policy requirements which came into effect on 1 April 2022.
